What are the Regional Cum Facilitation Centres (RCFC)?
Regional Cum Facilitation Centres (RCFC) are facilities established by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) in India to assist exporters and importers in the processing of their applications and other related activities. These centres provide a single window clearance system for all import and export-related activities.
RCFCs are located in various cities across India, and they offer services such as processing of Import-Export Code (IEC), issuing of certificates of origin, registration-cum-membership certificates, and other related documents. They also offer various other services related to import and export, such as information on the latest foreign trade policies and procedures, assistance in resolving trade disputes, and guidance on the various benefits and incentives available to exporters and importers.
The RCFCs are staffed with experienced professionals who are well-versed in all aspects of foreign trade and are equipped with the necessary technology to provide efficient and effective services to exporters and importers. The RCFCs play a vital role in promoting foreign trade in India by providing the necessary support to exporters and importers, thereby making it easier for them to conduct their business with minimal hassle.
